Kid Dreams
1968-1977
Growing up with an artist mother and scientist father, I’ve always been drawn to places where dream and reality meet. As a graduate student in filmmaking, I fell in love with the fantasy-saturated works of Federico Fellini, the spontaneity of Henri Cartier Bresson, the humor of Neal White and the serious elegance of Judy Dater. Through the children in my neighborhood I rediscovered my inner 10-year old, and attempted to capture the serious world of make-believe.
