My first major photo project  evolved out of film-making work in graduate school. I had fallen in love with the fantasy-saturated films of Federico Fellini, and later discovered still photographers who found dreams and humor in everyday life.  The neighborhood kids didn’t seem to mind my hanging around in their make-believe worlds, and I re-discovered my inner 10 year old.
